MeshRide versions

Ask Mesh about nearby places: "¿Cuál es la YPF más cercana?", a hotel, a mechanic, a tire shop, a pharmacy or a hospital. It tells you which one, marks it on the map and asks if it should take you there. Group talk over mobile data is now free for everyone. On the map, your fuel range shows the stations you can reach in green and the ones you can't in red. Remove a pothole or an animal by tapping it on the map or saying "Mesh, quitar peligro". The radar turns with your phone and also works without a trip. The map is full screen, the keyboard no longer covers what you type, and Mesh no longer wakes up on its own with music or acts without being called.

New 6-step welcome: country and language, your account (Google or email; a free account is now required), permissions, Mesh's voice, emergency contacts and intercom. Mesh talks to you the way people do in your country (Ajustes › Comandos de voz › País). With MeshRide Premium, your trips are saved to your account. "Mesh, busca hotel en…" opens Google Hotels and tells you the top-rated one. If a permission is missing, the notice on Inicio has a "Dar permiso" button.

Mesh responds better when you call it again: if a "Mesh" wasn't understood and you repeat it right away, it now listens. If you ask for a playlist and Spotify won't show your playlists, Mesh tells you why (account not enabled, Premium, or no connection) instead of saying "No la encontré".

Finer diagnostics to track down problems: when the group drops, when someone stops being heard, when a crash alert is canceled or when you say "no" to a call, the report keeps more data (how long the group lasted, how far away the other bike was, how hard the impact was). That helps us fix things better in the next version.

Safer emergency: if WhatsApp can't send the alert on its own, MeshRide no longer says "Avisamos por WhatsApp": it opens the SMS with your location, ready for you to tap Send (works without mobile data). The family link now tells you why it couldn't be created (for example, the free plan already used its trial ride).

A copy of your profile in your account: when you sign in, MeshRide asks whether you want to save your name and photo, emergency contacts, bikes, "Mis comandos", "No molestar" and settings. If you switch phones, sign in to the same account and everything comes back. Medical data stays on the phone only. You can turn it off in Perfil › Cuenta (turning it off deletes the copy).

New Ride Card: the map fills the whole image and you choose the style (Mapa, Relieve or Satélite). Before sharing, you can change the title and add up to 6 photos from the trip: they show up on the route, right where you took them.

On a solo ride, the notification now says "Terminar viaje". If microphone permission is missing, MeshRide asks for it when you tap "Salir solo", "Crear grupo" or "Unirse".

The first time, Mesh introduces itself; after that it gives a short greeting: "¡Hola, Seba! Estoy lista." Mesh no longer says "No entendí" if you didn't call it: it only listens after "Mesh" or after you tap the bubble (long conversation, by pressing and holding the bubble, still listens to everything). Changing the wake word is a MeshRide Premium feature (for example, «Hola Moto»). Mesh with AI no longer gives two different distances to the same place.

Landscape mode: MeshRide now rotates with the phone. Sideways, the tabs move to a bar on the left and each screen uses two columns (Inicio, Mapa, Radar, Viajes and Ajustes). In Ajustes › Viaje y pantalla you choose Automática, Siempre vertical or Siempre horizontal. Ajustes is now organized into groups.

While navigating on a solo ride, the map rotates with the bike again (always heading up); when stopped or without a GPS heading, it follows the direction of the route.

Spotify: the control now also shows on phones without notification access (while music is playing), and on Inicio it sits at the very bottom. "Pon música" with Spotify closed starts playback right away without leaving MeshRide; if nothing plays, it opens Spotify.

Press and hold a point on the map: "Ir hasta este punto" (also without a ride: it starts a solo ride with directions) and, if you're the group owner, "Llevar al grupo a este punto": everyone navigates with directions in their helmet. While navigating, the screen stays on. Mesh introduces itself first and then says the rest. "Pon música" opens Spotify and returns to MeshRide. The Spotify control shows whenever Spotify is open, on Inicio and on the Mapa, with or without a ride.

While navigating, the map tools (view group, range, trail, follow, route type) show below the direction. The Spotify control on the map is the same size as on Inicio. Map searches are saved (destinations for 30 days, gas stations for 24 h) and there's a limit of searches per day and per month; when you reach it, Mesh lets you know.

Map: "+" and "−" buttons for zoom (while navigating, the chosen zoom is kept, also with "Centrar"); if you move the map while navigating, it goes back to following the bike after 8 seconds. The map tools also show when a route is selected. "Quitar ruta" in red and "Iniciar" in green. While navigating, the Spotify control replaces "Abrir en Google Maps" (still available by voice).

Navigation inside MeshRide: pick a destination on the map and tap "Iniciar" (or say "Mesh, iniciar navegación"). Mesh reads out the directions in your helmet ("En 500 metros, gira a la derecha", "Ahora, a la derecha"), the map follows the bike with the arrow and the distance at the top, recalculates if you leave the route and tells you when you arrive. "Abrir en Google Maps" is still available. Also: signal in green and gray, Mesh greets you even without a helmet, "pon música" without Spotify tells you so, and clearer texts in the group header.

Map: when you pick a destination, the suggestions hide and the route stays on the map, with "Iniciar" and "Quitar ruta" below. "Ruta de moto" is now "Tipo de ruta": "Con curvas" no longer turns on "Sin autopistas", and there's "Solamente asfalto". The fuel button shows gas stations (even without range set up). The "Voz" tab is now "Inicio". Battery icon in Estados. "Mis motos" and gas stations are Premium. The last 5 trips are saved (100 with Premium). The trip clock shows only once.

Ride screen: the speaker is the same size as the microphone; Spotify also on solo rides, dimmed (gray) when paused and with the tapped area in orange; each rider's signal next to their name and the wave of whoever is talking to the left of their role; the trip time in the group header; long names on two lines; the Wi-Fi notice with the "Desconectar" button inside. The Mesh bubble stays still and only moves when Mesh is talking or you're talking to it; in a group it looks the same as on a solo ride.

Spotify control on the ride screen, between the microphone and the speaker (when Spotify is open): tap the top to turn the music up, the bottom to turn it down, the left for the previous song, the right for the next one and the center to pause. With the Mesh bubble on, the voice command button no longer shows. "Compartir música" now explains clearly when Spotify won't show what's playing.

"Hablar con Seba", "solo con…", "privado con…" or "conversar con…" open a private channel with that person in the group ("llamar a" is still a phone call). "Público" is now understood when creating a group by voice. If Wi-Fi Direct fails while rebuilding the group, the ride continues as a solo ride (it used to drop). There are no longer two owners at once when the owner can still be heard over mobile data. "Unirse a un grupo" is understood too.

New commands: "salir solo" (starts a solo ride) and "abrir el radar". "Abrir el mapa" opens the map (not the radar). In a group, Mesh only wakes up when you say "Mesh" (the group chat comes first); long conversation without "Mesh" is for solo rides. With MeshRide Premium you can join a group from far away over mobile data: tap the invite link and choose "Estoy lejos".

Mesh greets you with a single sentence ("¡Hola, Seba! Soy Mesh. Dime Mesh y pídeme lo que necesites, o di menú…") and answers "Dime". When you turn on long conversation, it no longer says "No te entendí" on its own. The group owner can rename the group (by tapping the name or by voice). In a group, only the owner changes everyone's destination with "ir a". The new owner is chosen by signal and battery. Links in messages are read as "envió un link". "Poner música" without a music app tells you so. "Desconectar" button on the Wi-Fi notice. Mesh with AI uses mobile data when the group's Wi-Fi has no internet. Lots of small fixes to voice, network and reports.

New commands: "crear un grupo" (asks public or private and the name), "unirme a un grupo" (searches and asks if you want to join), "abrir el mapa", "leer el último mensaje", "buscar hoteles en Mar del Plata" (tells you how many options there are and leaves the search on screen) and "subir la música al cincuenta por ciento". The meeting point is confirmed before it's sent to the group, the others are asked whether to set it as their destination, and you're told when they arrive. "Ir a…" opens the map with the route and gives the distance along the route. Questions sound in the normal voice. "Canción anterior" goes back to the previous song. "La segunda" lets you pick between contacts. No more "Un momento" in every answer. If the AI doesn't understand, it tells you. "Abrir calculadora" opens the phone's calculator. During a crash alert: "Estoy bien" button in the notification, even with the screen locked. A question you didn't ask for (WhatsApp, music, regrouping) no longer leaves you muted for the group.

Mesh no longer answers silence: if you say nothing after "Dime" or after an answer, it stays quiet (it used to say "No te entendí" or use up a question). Long questions aren't cut off halfway. While Mesh searches the internet, the group can hear you again. "Repite" repeats the last thing it said, not "Dime". During a crash alert or emergency, say "estoy bien" without "Mesh". Calls: if Mesh can't find the person you said, it asks for first and last name instead of suggesting someone else, and with two Sebastiáns it asks which one. "Cargué gasolina cinco mil pesos" no longer marks a full tank. "¿Quieres responder?" stops asking for a while if you don't answer. Premium stays active without internet.

Mesh understands "Mesh" followed by your question in one go (before, it sometimes got lost and you had to repeat). Emergency, hazards and "terminar viaje" no longer trigger in the middle of another sentence ("¿cuál es el número de emergencias?"). Anything Mesh with AI does for you that alerts the group or a contact, it asks you about first. During a phone call the group can't hear you and you don't hear the group over the call. After "dejar de leer mensajes" Mesh keeps answering.

Mesh with AI now also does what you ask in your own words ("anótame un gasto de cinco mil de gasolina", "llama a Mirna", "ponme algo de música"). It doesn't answer noise or background chatter, takes one question at a time, and "¿cuántos kilómetros hay hasta Mendoza?" no longer gives the distance already covered.

Ajustes, Comandos de voz, Quién contesta: Automático, Solo comandos or Siempre IA. Mesh tells a question from a command better ("¿a qué hora llegamos?" no longer tells you the time; "¿qué hago si tengo un accidente?" no longer reports an accident). "Cancelar" or "nadie" stop any question; with several similar contacts, Mesh says how many it found and which ones. The notification shows what's going on and goes away when you turn Mesh off.

Mesh understands questions better: if you say more than a command needs ("¿va a llover cuando llegue a Mina Clavero?"), Mesh with AI answers. Music that's playing no longer pauses or skips songs on its own. Closing the app from Recents turns off the assistant. If MeshRide starts on its own through the intercom, it lets you know.

Tap the MeshRide logo on Voz to see the list of commands, in 5 tabs (also in Ajustes). In "Mis comandos" you can pick the contact or app from a list. Premium: 7 days free; the free plan shows your last 5 trips, 10 minutes of talk over mobile data per ride, and one trial ride of the family link.

MeshRide Premium in Perfil: monthly and yearly plans at your country's price, 14 days free and "Administrar suscripción". The first time Mesh speaks through your intercom, it introduces itself.

Mesh chats with AI: if it doesn't understand a command and there's internet, it answers anyway. Free account: 5 questions per day; Premium: 50, and Mesh keeps listening for your follow-up question without you saying "Mesh". Voice commands have no limit.

Emergency in the Google Play version: if the alert can't go out through WhatsApp, a text message opens with your location, ready for you to tap Send.

Radar: it faces the way you're going, and the compass points, now bigger, rotate when you turn. "Tu MeshRide está al 85 %" with a red-to-green bar. The "Ruta de moto" panel closes when you tap outside it or on "Listo".

Fuel: "Mesh, cargué cinco mil pesos de gasolina" or "le puse diez litros" adds what you filled up and logs the expense; "¿cuánta gasolina tengo?" answers in liters and kilometers. "¿Dónde está…?" opens the map when you have data and the radar when you don't.

Map: you set the meeting point by holding your finger on the map (or "Mesh, punto de encuentro"); a Google Maps link or coordinates can be pasted straight into "¿A dónde vas?". "Comandos" and "opciones" also open the help menu.

Mesh understands better when you say things in other words ("¿me dices la hora?", "¿hay una YPF cerca?", "saca la música"); if it's unsure between two, it asks you which one. New: "¿quién tiene poca gasolina?" for the group. You can turn it off in Ajustes, Comandos de voz.

Group expenses: "Mesh, anotar gasto gasolina cinco mil" asks whether it's split among everyone, just for you, or among some; you can say the names, add or remove someone before it's logged.

Mesh bubble: one tap = talk once (it turns off by itself when Mesh answers). Press and hold = long conversation: when you're riding alone, Mesh listens all the time without you saying «Mesh» (in a group you still need it, so the chat isn't interrupted); one tap turns it off. Faded when off, moving bars during long conversation.

Map: new buttons on the right, below "Ver grupo": Autonomía (how far you can get on your tank and which gas stations you can reach), Rastro del grupo (each bike's path in its own color), Seguir a… (the map follows the bike you choose) and Ruta de moto (no highways, no tolls, or curvy; Google Maps navigation respects what you choose).

"Mesh" hears you better: when you ride alone or use "Hablar con Mesh" it's more sensitive; if it didn't understand, it tells you and listens again, and the second time it asks you to repeat more slowly. "Menú" opens help (same as "ayuda") and now reads it more slowly. New in Ajustes, Comandos de voz: «Mesh» sensitivity (Menos / Normal / Más). Replying to WhatsApp: after any message (not just a voice message) you can choose "con audio" or "con mensaje". Mesh's questions rise more at the end so they sound like questions.

Shorter initial setup: name (or "Continuar con Google", which brings in your name and photo) and the essential permissions. Everything else is asked when needed: battery and location the first time you head out, the intercom when you connect it ("¿Es tu intercomunicador?") and the rest in "Tu MeshRide al 100 %", on the Voz tab.

New: the Mesh bubble on every screen. Tap it to talk to Mesh; press, hold and drag it to put it wherever you want (you can turn it off in Ajustes, Comandos de voz). "Detener" in orange to close the assistant.

"Hablar con Mesh": when you tap the button, Mesh is already listening (no need to say «Mesh»), it works even if the wake word is turned off in Ajustes, and it understands soft voices better. Tap the card to talk again and "Apagar" to close it.

Fix: on solo rides, the live location link for family now updates (it used to stay stuck at the first position). If you can't find the group after tapping an invite, the app tells you that you need to be near whoever created it.

Emergency: red screen with a 30-second countdown, a ring that empties and an "Estoy bien" button. Fix: the Mapa tab could close the app on some phones.

New in Ajustes > Avanzado: "Contanos" to send us bugs, ideas and questions, and "Diagnósticos" (you can turn them off). With your (free) account you can use the copilot and live location for family.

Mobile data: the notice now comes from the group ("La señal wifi está débil. Seguimos conectados por datos móviles") and tells you when the Wi-Fi network is back. The top of the screen now shows the connection (group Wi-Fi network or mobile data) instead of "Reconectando…".

Starting with this version, MeshRide updates from meshride.app.

New initial setup: animated, with a "Volver" button, and you can check or uncheck each permission. Wind calibration is no longer there: Mesh offers it on your first ride, while you're moving.

Smoother audio over mobile data: the buffer for each voice adapts to the network on its own (minimal over Wi-Fi Direct, a bit more if the mobile network is up and down).

Mobile data backup turned on: if someone moves away from the group, the conversation continues over mobile data (relay.meshride.app server).

Voice questions sound more like questions and end with a "your turn" tone.

Incoming calls: on a ride, MeshRide tells you in your helmet who's calling ("Te llama Mirna. ¿Atiendo?"). Say "sí" to answer or "no" to decline.

Design closer to the reference: regular lettering (no all caps), selected tab in light blue with a glow, lighter glass.

Automatic intercom: in Ajustes, "Asociar intercomunicador". When it connects, MeshRide starts a solo ride without opening the app; when you disconnect it, the ride ends.

WhatsApp: no longer reads WhatsApp's own notices ("Enviando…") after sending a voice message.

Reply with audio: your voice is now actually recorded (before, only noise came through) and it's sent automatically, without tapping "OK".

More reliable voice answers: the start of a quick "sí" is no longer cut off or mistaken for names in your contacts. Answer "sí", "dale", "ok" or "bueno" as soon as the question ends.

Reply to a voice message with another one: after listening to a WhatsApp voice message, say "sí" and "con audio", talk after the tone and stay quiet when you're done; it asks "¿Lo envío?". It arrives as an audio file. The person has to be in your contacts.

Voice answers: "sí", "sim", "dale", "ok" and "bueno" confirm; "no" and "não" decline. If it doesn't understand the answer three times, it stops asking.

WhatsApp voice messages in your helmet: when one arrives, MeshRide asks "¿Lo reproduzco?" and plays it through the intercom (the music lowers by itself). Turn on file access in Ajustes › Comandos de voz › WhatsApp, and automatic audio download in WhatsApp.

Invite via WhatsApp: INVITAR button on the Voz tab; the link opens MeshRide straight into the group (T-23).

Real Google map with the group: press and hold a point (or tap a place) to set the meeting point. The radar is still available without internet.

Road safety: Mapa tab with the group on a radar (works without internet), a voice alert when someone falls behind, and a regroup point (T-14).

Sturdier group: if the person who created the group leaves or disappears, another member takes over automatically and the conversation goes on (T-06).

Automatic reports: when each ride ends, the metrics upload to the server on their own for analysis (Ajustes › Reportes al servidor).

Opus (T-07): voice uses about 10 times less data, if both phones support it (otherwise it stays on µ-law).

No more voice dropouts when you talk without pausing: adaptive voice detection and automatic mic gain.

Freeze fix: if the signal degrades, the app no longer hangs; it drops audio and keeps going.

Notice when the phone is connected to a regular Wi-Fi network (it adds delay to the group).

Built-in updater: future versions install from the app itself, no cable needed.
