Terms of use

This is a translation of the original Spanish version; if there is any discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.

1. Acceptance

These terms govern the use of the MeshRide app and the meshride.app website, both owned by Sebastian Eliceiri (Argentine Republic). By installing the app or using the website you accept these terms and the privacy policy.

2. The service

MeshRide lets a group of people talk between Android phones over Wi‑Fi Direct, using Bluetooth intercoms as hands-free devices, and offers ride features (group map, voice assistant, ride log, expenses, safety alerts). There is a free plan and a paid subscription, MeshRide Premium (section 5). The service may change, have errors or be interrupted, and some features may not be available on all phones or intercoms.

3. Age

You must be over 18 years of age to use MeshRide.

4. Account

To use MeshRide you need a free account. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for the activity on your account. You can delete it whenever you want from the app or at meshride.app/cuenta/eliminar. We may suspend an account that is used in breach of these terms.

5. MeshRide Premium (subscription)

  • What it includes: 50 questions per day to Mesh (the free plan has 5), live location for your family on every ride (the free plan, one trial ride), the motorcycle route, gas stations on the map and your entire ride history (the free plan shows the last 5). Safety features (emergency, crash detection, group alerts) are always free.
  • Price and plans: monthly or annual, at the price shown by Google Play in your country, with any applicable taxes. Requires a MeshRide account.
  • Free trial: if you have never had the subscription, the first 7 days are free. If you do not cancel before they end, the chosen plan is charged.
  • Automatic renewal: the subscription renews automatically at the end of each period and is charged to the payment method on your Google Play account, until you cancel it.
  • Cancellation: you can cancel whenever you want from Google Play (or in the app, Profile → MeshRide Premium → Manage subscription). You keep Premium until the end of the paid period; the next one is not charged.
  • Payments and refunds: charges are made by Google Play, under its terms and its refund policy. MeshRide does not receive your card details.
  • Changes in price or benefits: we will notify you in advance, as required by Google Play; if you do not agree, you can cancel.

6. Safety on the road

  • MeshRide is an aid; it does not replace your attention to riding or traffic rules. Set up the app with the motorcycle stopped and comply with the laws on using devices while driving.
  • Crash detection and the emergency button depend on your phone's sensors, battery, GPS and coverage. They may fail to detect an accident or give false alerts, and messages may not get through if there is no signal. They do not replace emergency services.
  • The range of the conversation depends on the terrain, the phones and where they are carried.

7. Mesh (artificial intelligence)

When a request is not a voice command, Mesh answers it with artificial intelligence. The answers may be incomplete, outdated or incorrect. Verify anything important (routes, schedules, weather, fuel) and never follow an instruction that puts your safety at risk. Mesh needs internet and an account, has a daily question limit according to your plan (when you reach the limit, voice commands keep working) and does not replace emergency services.

8. Permitted use

You agree not to use MeshRide for illegal activities, to harass or record other people without their consent, or to interfere with the service or the relay server. You are responsible for the information you share with your group.

9. Third-party services

Some features use third-party services (Google Maps, Google dictation, Google Gemini, Google Play, Open‑Meteo, Spotify, WhatsApp, SMS) that have their own terms. Sending SMS or using mobile data may have a cost depending on your plan.

10. Intellectual property

The MeshRide brand, the logo, the app and the content of this website belong to Sebastian Eliceiri. The intercom brands mentioned belong to their respective owners and are cited only to indicate compatibility; MeshRide is not affiliated with them.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, MeshRide is offered «as is», and Sebastian Eliceiri will not be liable for damages arising from service interruptions, loss of communication, failures in safety alerts, Mesh's answers or the use of third-party services. None of this limits the rights granted to you by Law 24,240 on Consumer Protection or any other rule that cannot be waived.

12. Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic. We may update them; we will publish the new version here with its date. Questions: [email protected].
